Antagonist

Characters who oppose the protagonists of the series, as these characters also play vital roles in the series storyline, and some of them may even cause serious problems for the main protagonists. Some of the more popular antagonists make recurring appearances throughout the series. Some simple followers are not considered antagonists. A few antagonists may join the main protagonists to fulfill their own agendas, but due to differences in position and goals, the alliances are often temporary and fragile.
